Part-time Finisher / Yarmouth, ME

Eastern Finish is a small high-end cabinet refinishing + finishing shop based in Yarmouth, ME. We help our customers make their existing cabinets new again through cabinet restorations and sprayed fine finishes, re-dooring, and any kind of custom cabinetry and cabinet modifications.

We are looking for someone part-time 20-25 hours per week (with an option to go full-time if the fit is good) who has experience in fine finish work. You will work primarily out of our Yarmouth, ME shop finishing & refinishing cabinet door + drawer fronts, trim, and other millwork.

If you have experience and understand the concepts of refinishing / restoring and fine finish painting / coatings - let's talk.

Responsibilities / skills

• Shop management

• Self-starting / self-management

• Wood prep - sanding, filling, preparing surfaces for spray booth

• Fine finish spraying (airless, AAA, HVLP)

• Demonstrated proficiency in fine finish spraying techniques for solid coatings, stain, and clear finishes

• Extreme attention to detail
